Writers' Tears is an Irish whiskey rooted in the famous golden era of whiskey which helped inspire creative thinkers and artists of the 19th and early 20th centuries, forever leaving its mark on Irish culture and literary history. The Copper Pot is distilled entirely from barley, both malted and unmalted, and is matured in flame charred, American oak bourbon casks. The spirit is triple-distilled, non-peated and bottled at 40% alcohol volume. The Copper Pot blend features a nose with flashes of apple and hints of vanilla, with a gently spiced, orange, and orchard fruits flavour that forms a long and elegant finish with notes of dark chocolate.
