The whiskey’s second barrel aging is done in Napa Valley California, where this classic drink steps into luxury, aging for 9 to 12 months in medium toast French oak Napa Cabernet Sauvignon barrels. The Cabernet aging results in a copper brown bourbon tinted with a cabernet red hue, sensational vanilla characteristics and a silky mouthfeel. The result is a rich take on a Kentucky bourbon, exuding deep flavors of vanilla and toast followed by notes of crème brûlée that conclude with hints of spice in a long, complex finish.
